What are your plans after college?
After graduating, I would like to work at a non profit organization.
What would be your dream job?
I would love to do something that combines traveling, food, and writing.
Why did you want to intern at the American Autism Association?
I wanted to intern at the American Autism Association because I think the work that is being done is important. For the past five years, I have had experience with children and adults with disabilities in a traditional/inclusion recreational environment. I thought it would be interesting to combine my passions in a nonprofit enriching environment.
What do you like to do in your free time?
In my free time I enjoy watching Netflix, hanging out with my friends and family, and trying out new restaurants(I love eating!)
What’s been your favorite class in college and why?
My favorite class would have to be Nonverbal Communication. I find it fascinating how one’s body language can truly demonstrate how someone is feeling. Also, learning about adaptors( things we do when we are nervous) and how encoding and decoding messages can influence how we act around each other.
What are you most looking forward to after graduation?
I am looking forward to being in the real world and making a difference in my community.
How do you like your coffee (or tea)?
I actually don’t like coffee or tea. I tend to drink tea when I am sick.
Where is your dream vacation?
I am Greek and have never been to Greece. I would like to visit the Greek islands at least once in my lifetime.
