Youth Ambassador Roselaw Breus

Youth Ambassador Roselaw Breus

In 2020, the American Autism Association launched our Youth Ambassadors Program, an opportunity for high school and college students to serve as leaders in raising understanding and support for autism in their communities. We are delighted to welcome our first class of ambassadors, and we will be spotlighting each student.

Meet Roselaw!

What made you interested in working with the American Autism Association?

What made me interested in working with the American Autism Association is being able to work with so many brilliant and intelligent people. In society, people do not bring as much awareness to autism, and, being a part of this association as an ambassador, I would love to help this association and tell people more about this association. I would love to help in any way possible. I want to promote empowerment to people that are affected with autism.

What do you hope to gain from your experience as a Youth Ambassador?

I hope to gain friendships with many people, build leadership and problem-solving skills, and have a positive impact on the autism community from my experience as a Youth Ambassador.

How do you like to spend your free time?

In my free time I like to spend time with my family and friends. Furthermore, I learn so much from the people around me, so I love to be able to learn and carry out lessons that are taught to me about life from my family and friends.

What is your secret (or not so secret) talent?

My secret talent is singing. I don't really like singing in front of people, but I am very good at it.

What superpower do you want most?

The superpower I would want to have is being able to read people's minds, so telepathy. The reason for this is because I would like to know what people are thinking about, especially when I am talking to a person.

What is your dream job?

My dream job is to become an Obstetrician Gynecologist. I love taking care of babies and playing with them. So, I want to be able to help mothers bring their own child into this world.
