An Update from the American Autism Association Regarding COVID-19
Dear community,
The American Autism Association continues to monitor the rapidly changing COVID-19 crisis. We are following guidance from the CDC and local health officials to ensure the health and safety of the families we serve, as well the our staff and volunteers who serve them, remain a priority. With this in mind, we have decided to cancel all programming between Friday, March 13 and Friday, March 27.
During this time, community members can still reach their staff contacts by email, phone and text message and our staff is still fielding all messages. In addition, our Autism Help Hotline will remain active and families can still contact our team for any resource and information they may need.
We will continue to evaluate the situation and communicate if programming will be cancelled beyond Friday, March 27.
We do still look forward to celebrating Autism Awareness Month with our community this April, which marks the American Autism Association's 10-year anniversary.
Stay healthy and safe!
Warmest Regards,
The American Autism Association Team
