Virtual Parenting Workshop on Teaching Social Skills
On Monday, July 13th, the American Autism Association hosted a the first workshop of our Virtual Parenting Workshop Series. This workshop focused on teaching children social skills and was hosted in collaboration with Achieve Beyond. During this event, Tara Karen BCBA, the Clinical and Operations Director of Achieve Beyond shared a plethora of strategies for helping children practice social skills, such as utilizing reinforcement, joint attention, and different types of play.
