The Best Autism-Related Advice Received
Although having a loved one with autism can have its challenges, there’s something really remarkable about the community and amount of support families, friends and people with autism have. A few times a year, we like to take a moment and ask our community the best autism-related advice they’ve received. These meaningful responses allow people to see they are not alone and they have a community here to support and uplift their loved one with autism.
Here’s what the community had to say!
“Let your child do and become whatever she wants to be, don’t just think because she’s autistic that she can’t do it” @miss3mrsnoble
“Accept your kid for who they are.” @ladcraig
“Keep close to your heart the happy moments. You need them for the difficult days” @charliehbugg
“You are your child’s best advocate!” @armybrat4eva
“Run when you can, walk if you have to, crawl if you must, but just never give up” @beulagovindan
“Everything will come on their time” @chevyboy1968
“Don’t compare your child to others. They all grow and learn at their own speed” @missa_medrano_vega_sanchez
“Do not limit your son or daughter because they’re actually very smart and will do wonders if you see past the autism” @super.s269
