What is Expected of the Atypical Series Season 4?
Atypical is a Netflix series created by Robia Rashid was premiered in August 2017. The series is based on a family of four where the youngest son, Sam Gardener, is 18 years old with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) wants to search for love and independence and puts his entire family on a path of self-discovery.
Season three ended with Sam’s mother, Elsa, trying to reconnect with her husband, Doug, after an affair. Sam’s sister, Cassie, discovering that her girlfriend, Izzie, has a secret lover. Sam was struggling a lot in college but later found someone that helps him achieve and be successful in his studies. He also learned how to express love to his friends Paige and Zahid.
All cast members will be back on the show for the fourth season. Season 4 will answer how Sam and Cassie face their fears and dilemma on personal and professional life. This season will explore the friendship between Sam and Zahid as they become roommates in college. Sam’s parents also might be reviving their relationship as they finally agree to renew their wedding vows. Viewers will be able to see Casey and Izzy’s relationship develop on a deeper level.
A trailer for season four hasn't come out yet, but Netflix confirmed that this will be the last season and that it was postposed to be premiered sometime in 2021 because of COVID-19. It will have 10 episodes and will give the show the final goodbye that it deserves.
