Give the Gift of Hope

The past year and a half has brought on unexpected challenges and obstacles for all of us in so many ways. Despite these challenges, the American Autism Association has stayed true to our promise and mission — to better the lives of people with autism and their families by providing accessible and valuable resources and learning opportunities.

Last year, we celebrated our 10 year anniversary, and we established our goals for the next decade. Although the beginning of this new decade has brought adversities, we have still found ways to attain our goals. We have hosted a number of virtual workshops that have each served as a helpful educational resource to many, as well as safely hosting our first in-person event since 2019, our Ballet for All Kids Clinic. As the world around us faces a time of uncertainty, we are certain about one thing — that we will continue to support and advocate for people affected by autism in every way that we can.

We invite supporters, friends, and partners to help us bring positive change to the lives of people with autism and their families by enabling us to continue to provide impactful resources and educational opportunities.

Your Impact on Our Goals

Thanks to supporters like you, the American Autism Association has been a continued source of assistance and guidance for people with autism and their families for over 11 years. Looking ahead, your support will enable us to:

  • Establish adequate funding to sustain our current programming and services while expanding our reach during tough economic times.

  • Build the capacity of the Autism Help Hotline to assist the growing number of families and broaden strategic partnerships with national autism centers.

  • Expand financial and educational resources and increase accessibility for individuals around the world.

  • Secure funding in effort to develop a grants program which will support therapeutic recreational therapy programs throughout the country.

  • Respond to the increasing unique needs of individuals with autism and help maintain a high quality of services.

  • Strengthen our infrastructure to generate increased private funding to support our growing client base and services.

Looking Ahead

Since 2010, we have provided for our community when they needed it most. Our commitment, coupled with the unwavering support of our donors, has grown to meet the ever-changing needs of autism communities across the nation.

After 11 years, this is an important moment for us, and we ask for your help in building a foundation for the future.
